Hi, I'm Carol

A modern therapist for real, human relationships.

I work with people of all ages on relationship development in every form — with partners, family, friends, and, maybe most importantly, with themselves. My approach blends deep clinical training with a genuinely modern, warm way of showing up in the room (or on the screen).

I studied Psychology at Vanderbilt University and earned my Master's in Applied Psychology from NYU, where I learned to hold both the science of therapy and the systems and culture that shape it. Early in my career I worked with clients ages 3 to 73 affected by the foster care system — work that shaped my belief that healing happens in relationship, and that people deserve tools they can actually use, not just an hour of talking.

Today my work is solution-oriented and collaborative. I send clients home with real resources between sessions — articles, podcasts, music, films — because growth doesn't stop when the timer does.

How I Work

Rooted in research. Shaped for you.

I draw from a handful of evidence-based approaches, chosen and blended based on what you actually need — not a one-size-fits-all script.

01

Attachment-Focused

Understanding how your earliest relationships still shape how you connect, trust, and communicate today.

02

The Gottman Method

Research-backed tools for couples to build friendship, manage conflict, and create shared meaning.

03

Relational Therapy

The relationship between us is the work. A secure, honest therapeutic bond is the strongest predictor of change.

04

Solution-Oriented

Practical, actionable strategies alongside insight — plus resources to carry the work between sessions.

Services

Support for every stage of your relationships

Individual, couples, and family sessions — available in English and Spanish, entirely via telehealth.

Individual Therapy

One hour a week to be completely yourself. For children, teens, and adults working on emotional awareness, secure relationships, and self-trust.

Couples Therapy

Using the Gottman Method and Attachment Theory to help partners feel more connected, understood, and in sync.

Family Therapy

Work with parent-child and sibling dyads, divorce transitions, and step-family dynamics — because the system matters.

Immigration Evaluations

Certified by the Immigration Evaluation Institute to provide trauma-informed psychological evaluations for hardship, asylum, T/U visa, and VAWA cases.
